Happy to be back in the States!

I picked J up from the airport yesterday, and it was amzing to have him back home. He told me all about the different lifestyle, food, expectation, clothing choices, etc. Some of the most interesting are:
- The restaurants do not open until 7pm & they means are not as large and seasoned (do not tast as good)
- They have coffee/social hour in the morning & afternoon (with extra strong coffee)
- On Fridays they take a 3 hour lunch to eat & shop
- All the cars are all small like smart cars
- They dress different than Americans, NO hats!
- Everyone is skinnier, due to the walking
- It is acceptable/encouraged to drink a cocktail at Lunch
- Trains are the most popular way of transportation

J brought me home a few surprises so we can have our own lil French date night. He got a Disney Eifel Tower, Bottles of Wine, Glasses & Candles with the Paris Skyline and Macaroons. What a cute idea J! :)
