Columbus Roadtrip...Chevelle Time.

Friday after work J & I packed up and headed up North to Columbus to go to the Chevelle Concert. Jon's frined Erin from College and my friend Dani from College went with us to the show. Chevelle put on an AWESOME show. Thanks to Dani we got VIP passes and were right next to the stage. SWEETNESS!

Labor Day Weekend in ChiTown!

This past weekend we headed on yet another Roadtrip to one of our Favorite cities..CHICAGO! Jon's good buddy Greg from High School and College was getting married this weekend in the windy city, so off we went to join in on their special day. It was so much fun to meet some of J's old buddies from "back in the day", after hearing so many stories about their college days together. Jen was a beautiful bride and Greg was a very handsome groom. The church they picked was gorgeous and a perfect size for a wedding. After the Wedding we went to watch the ND game. The waitress told our table about these crazy huge beers to split. SO why not.....

The weather was terrible so in the 3 hours between the Wedding and Reception we only got to see the 1st half of the game before they cleared the stands beause of lightening. So off we went to the reception. The reception was at 311 Pazzo's. The room was beautifully decorated and then fun was quickly kicked off with a packed dance floor the whole night long. FUN TIMES! Congrats Jen & Greg!! :)

On Sunday we went to Wrigleyville to do a pub crawl for the Cubbies game with Ashley, Holly, Ashley's Mom (Gail) and a bunch of Ashley's friends. We went all over Wrigleyville and ended up at this cool bar closer to downtown called the Cedar Hotel Bar, def was the place to be & be seen. PERFECT to people watch and soak up the gorg day! When we got back to our hotel we went up to the rooftop bar we had heard was awesome, and sure enough it was SWEET! Somewhere we will definately need to go back to next time we are in town!
